Really cool to see you pull in map data and use it in game, I like the idea of having something locally recognisable and navigable! I couldn't quite tell how I succeeded or failed at the bounties though, I kept wanting to click something to track the vehicle. I got 5 bounties and failed 2.
I thought maybe having bounties with hints of local land marks or areas could be another layer of fun if you know CT. Great idea for a local game. Good job, and for getting out a web build \m/
I had originally planned to have a few special bounties that pulled open street view images but sadly was quite behind on time, thank you for checking it out <3
Really great job on getting the maps in and functional though, I'd like to see how you did it in Godot some time.
Wow this game blew my mind. The technical difficulty that this must have taken honestly baffles me. I enjoy the lengths this game took to aim for accuracy with the balance of creativity
This is an insanely technically impressive entry! So cool to see a render of CPT like this and the game loop is really addictive! (Would love to hear a talk on how it was all setup). Also great logo/icon for the game, you can instantly tell what the premise is gonna be from it.
Where’s all the traffic the CBD normally provides us? How are they moving so quickly?
For only 3 days, though, this is amazing. I especially liked seeing the CBD recreated. I’d actually love to know how you went about making the map?
Thank you so much for checking it out!
The map was pulled from open street maps data using the BLOSM blender plugin, and then I did the materials in Godot to give it a holographic look.
The navmeshes were actually pain and if you see cars parked it's 100% not intentional lol
Really found myself immersed in the experience of just watching the city go on about its day and interacting with the mail box. Absolute Cinema!!
I like clicking the colored lights :)
thank you skully i made them bright just for you <3
Maybe you can be the brightest one...
great aesthetics and fun gameplay. Making the surveillance state fun lol
