PixelAlchemy - 7 free compositor nodes for Blender: CRT, Pixel Art, CMYK Halftone, Dithering and more

Hi everyone!

PixelAlchemy is a free pack of compositor node groups for Blender 5.2 and newer. Put one between Render Layers and the output, and your render becomes an old CRT screen, a modern display seen through a macro lens, a four-ink print, flat pixel art, a dithered picture or text art.

There are seven nodes: CRT, Display, CMYK Halftone, Pixel Art, Pixel Art Palette, Dithering and ASCII. They use nothing but Blender's own compositor nodes, so the only setup is adding the folder as an asset library, and you can open any group to see what's inside.

The pack is CC0, free with an optional donation. One tip: judge the patterns in a final render at 1:1, since the viewport shrinks the frame and can add moiré.

I'd be glad to hear what you think, or which look I should try next.

Nice that it's all stock compositor nodes, so nothing should break on the next Blender update. For a next look, a Game Boy style LCD would be fun: four shades of green, the faint grid between pixels, and a little ghosting when things move.
