Since that thread was bumped anyway, what is written above is old information.
The ai disclosure is now visible in the more information box.
If it is filled out with yes or no, something will appear. But not as a tag.
It will say
Content No generative AI was used
or
AI Disclosure AI Assisted, Code, Graphics, Sounds, Text
The ai assisted is misleading. It does not correspond to the ai disclosure classifications. There is no question about "assistance". Only about generative ai content and what type. And it links to the new filter option /games/ai-assisted which opens a new side filter for positive filtering of ai. You can't use those filters to exclude specific classifications. So you cannot exclude text, but allow code. There is only no-ai, which is still a virtual and and actual tag.
Yes — This project contains the output of Generative AI
What kind of AI generated content is used?
Classification of AI-Generated content is mandatory. Your classification will be used to add additional filtering tags to your project.
Graphics Sounds Text&Dialog Code
Any of those 4 boxes ticked will appear next to ai assisted.
I consider ai assisted especially misleading, because there really are ai assisted and ai made games now. Not only gen ai assets. There are ai agents on Itch, publishing games.
