I'm making Stack & Sigil, a roguelike block-stacking game where you use sets of block colours and relics to help you beat the clock, or tackle endless levels.

I'm looking for some playtesters and some feedback mainly based on these first two questions currently:
1. Where did you first get confused (if relevant)

2. Did you/did you want to start another run, and why?

The playtest is publicly available at on Itch: https://wburd.itch.io/stack-and-sigil or our official site: https://stackandsigil.com and the playtest is open until further notice at the current time with updates being pushed regularly.

Written feedback here is fine, or if you're able to send a small recording of your gameplay that's great - but optional.

Thanks for taking the time to check Stack & Sigil out!

  1. English isn’t my first language, so I used an AI model to translate screenshots of the How to Play and reward screens. That way the explanations read clearly, but native speakers can better judge the original wording.
  2. Really enjoyed this one, it has its own identity. It looks like Tetris, but you think differently: while one piece is falling, you’re already picking the next one from the rack. That took a while to click and made the first few encounters a bit steep. Played three runs, best was encounter 10.

I really appreciate you giving the game a go - and thrilled that you enjoyed it. Encounter 10 is no small feat!  I'm glad you found the selection interesting and that it felt different to other "similar" games.

Thank you so much again!
