And, it doesn't matter if I'm softdev or whatever, the game's engine is Ren'Py, Python under the hood, it would be so ignorant to assume there's no function for it. Simple search or ask your clankers will get your answers for yourself. It won't matter if I ain't gamedev, all functions possibly available at your disposal.

And haven't you considered that maybe Ncrow doesn't have the time to make everything perfect the way you like it? Be content with what they give you, don't ask for more, because it takes a lot of effort for Ncrow to create what you criticize. Personally, I'm happy with everything about this game. I don't have to demand or criticize the work of someone who puts a lot of effort into doing everything. Regarding mentioning characters, you know the time Creating characters and animations at Chara Studios is difficult; I actually know more than you because I've worked in that industry.
