John Big — top-down pixel cop shooter with 4-player online co-op (free, browser)

JOHN BIG is a top-down pixel shooter: clear gang hideouts room by room under fog of war. Enemies only see what's in their line of sight, hear your shots and flank you. One hit kills.

• 10-mission story campaign with briefings and cutscenes

• The Tower: endless procedural floors, a shop between runs, a boss every 5th floor

• Online co-op for up to 4 players by room code, no install

• 20 characters, 3 roles (Supplier, Assault, Medic)

Plays in the browser, desktop and phone: https://lordmoon1337.itch.io/john-big

Solo dev here, any feedback is welcome!

Update: big campaign pass is live!

  • Missions 1–3 rebuilt as clear linear runs, with a SWAT escape and a story twist in Mission 3
  • Softer start: armour from the first room, slower enemy aim on Normal, an arrow to the last hidden enemy
  • Walls are now easy to read, and your flashlight lights up every wall it touches
  • New touch controls: two sticks plus a draggable FIRE button
  • Endless Tower and 4-player co-op are still free, right in your browser

Would love to hear where the first missions feel too hard or too easy!
