How did you use AI?
I used Claude to write the code. I streamed the whole thing.

How does your game fit the restriction?
While space is used to start the game, the 4 way movement is all the player can do while in game.

Interesting idea, but I found it way too aggravating to try and get cats out. Cool retro game though.

Thanks for engaging with the metaphor.

You must have never tried moving cats IRL. This game is much less aggravating.

A deeply frustrating game, but I suppose that is on theme with herding cats.
My playthrough:

Well, thanks for engaging with the metaphor.

The frustration is by design. The cats literally move randomly. Like real cats.

So actually getting a cat through a door takes an RNG miracle.

Brings back memories from Rodent's Revenge!

Well done, great game

Thanks for engaging with the metaphor.

I looked up Roden’t Revenge. I was not familiar.

I actually discovered Rodent's Revenge purely by accident myself, but I was there 3000 years ago to make that discovery with a friend It's a great memory, so I really appreciate games that bring back that feeling.

The pixel art style is awesome! Gameplay wise I had a very hard time herding the cats to the door, maybe the cats can move more than one space when you approach or scare them

can’t take credit for the art. it comes from https://vurmux.itch.io/urizen-onebit-tileset and is CC0.

I also didn’t pick the tiles used. Claude did. He did a fairly decent job.
