This reminded me of some of the older Castlevania games. I loved the artwork and the monster designs. I felt like this was the perfect balance of "challenging but not impossible." And the lighting and sound were perfect for the setting you have going. This is a really solid game.

Amazing game WOW!! you did an Immaculate job with the art style and sound design. the gameplay was pretty smooth and felt challenging and I thought the levels were designed really well, I also love how you handled the lightning and it made me wanna look into it for my games lights too ngl, it made everything look sooo vibey.
Great Job!

I got to the end (I think? Reached the title drop), and I think it’s really solid. The stealth/chase sections were really tense, especially at the start when I didn’t quite understand the AI.

I found it harder to play with a gamepad than with a keyboard, which is unusual for a platformer, and I think that’s because crawl is mapped to the down button - on the analog stick that made it sometimes register while I was trying to run sideways, while on D-pad it was easy to fatfinger it and not have the character crawl at all. But remap it to one of the face buttons and you’re golden. Love the visual and sound design too.

Good feedback. My gamepad only occasionally did what you're describing but I can see the necessity in accounting for this in a better way. And yes, you did reach the end. Thank you!

Goated game with goated music

Super nice art style, i like the design of the scary guy. As a little nit, wish there was more introduction to the different game mechanics with on screen hints and prompts, especially in regards to using objects

Extremely nice art style and tight and satisfying controls. Enjoyed the whole game from start to finish. There were few annoying blind jumps/instant kills when changing screen and if you felt down it was a little annoying how that basically meant you would need to find the monster to respawn but as the game was generous with save points this wasn't a huge issue and didn't affect my enjoyment of the game! Very nice entry.

lol yeah it’s funny when the best way to move forward is to sacrifice yourself to the thing you’re literally trying to escape hahahah. Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it 👻

Wow, the best one i played so far. I love metroidvania games and this game has potential for a steam release, if the movement is more fluid, keep it up, it is a very good game!

Wow, thank you!
