This game legit kicks ass!
I worked in the film industry for a long time (partly as a CG artist using Blender funnily enough so I get the struggle), so like yourself I've always enjoyed keeping a camera with me and finding a composition wherever I can. Mildly off topic, but I'm a sucker for a fixed focal length so you're forced to find the right framing yourself, rather than rely on a zoom.
This game captures that same feeling: There's a clear focus in the boat, and you end up running everywhere and finding all sorts of angles. I tried some ultra wides close-up, some leading lines of the shore and stood out in the sea. I even thought can I hop onto those wooden sticks (forget the name) and get some sort of top down shot? I nerded out for a good 15 minutes lol.
I settled on the result below. I give it a 4/10, I think I can do better! I'd invite anyone reading this to post theirs and try and beat it.
Really great little game. Is it simple? Sure, but it's cute and the art style is consistent. The core mechanic is sound, and it has replayability. Would definitely play an expanded version if this was an idea you ever chose to develop further as your skills progress. Fantastic job!
