Horripilant?
Gotcha. I do like the aesthetic, so giving some feedback based on my playthrough so far:
1. Could use a button to auto-advance through the levels, especially when you keep levels so you don't worry about dying fast to earlier enemies. It gets tiring in the later game to keep having to press the button to advance through levels you're steamrolling already.
2. Faster-paced than Horripilant, which isn't a bad thing. Though you don't get power spikes like that game, because the talents aren't as powerful by themselves.
3. I'd rename the helpers to differentiate your game from Horripilant, at the very least, even if the game obviously takes references from it. Since it's forest-themed, maybe spirits or fae?
