This one was nice! It's missing a lot on the presentation side, which is understandable given that it's 1) solo and 2) your first game project. And for what it's worth, I think you prioritized what polish there is well - the controls are smooth, the drills are distinct and the UI is functional - it's barebones but doesn't detract from the gameplay.

One thing that did stand out to is that the end state is not communicated. Between the camera being zoomed so far in that the end wall is a couple of pixels and no in-game information on what the goal is, I was actually about to leave my feedback but decided to get "a few more points" and hit 10k when the ending (which did get a genuine chuckle out of me) showed up. I think communicating that kind of thing is especially important in jam games so people know if they're making progress towards something, or if it´s an endless game with no defined end.

And despite all that, the game itself is enjoyable You get into a nice rhythm of buying a drill, digging, moving your idle drills, buying the next drill, rinse and repeat. I also really liked the inversion of the limitation - instead of avoiding the extreme cold, you're avoiding the extreme heat.

Again, especially considering the circumstances, well done!

Thank you very much for the detailed and constructive reply.
I definitely wanted to add more things to the game to make it feel like there is progress and stuff, but I ran out of time, I literally uploaded it like 1 hour before the deadline.
And about that ending, I wanted to keep it hidden for only the people who continued to play the game, cause I really didn't think it would keep the players long enough to get to it.
