Theme Implementation
You operate and test a Machine to bring it to market. Make sure it doesn't break. God Speed.

Special Object Implementation
Through a little test subject, complete the courses and validate the functionalities.

What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
Free sound effects from the internet to kitbash into the overall sound design. All other assets and code made by me for this jam alone.

How did you use generative AI?
I didn't use it at all. I tried to debug and refactor a feature with it once and it just helped me work out the problem rubber duck style. Its suggestion was awful lol

Still not sure of some gameplay, I'm not sure what the pause button does for example. I also think that not showing the grid makes it even harder to know how many arrows are needed in the sequence. But I love the concept, retro style and sound design

Yep, I heard about the grid and makes so much sense. If it helps, the area shown is 7x7 from corner to corner of the screen. Also a case for color blindness since the circles all look the same.

The original concept was that you need to pause at the last tile to complete the level, but any extra action will result in the correct spot landing, and once you win it doesn't continue executing. I also would've added some timed challenges into the levels where you would've had to stop for a few turns before continuing, but the jam deadline is boss.

pretty good visuals and audio except for the guides and the text. i couldn't read the font at all and had no idea how to play until i just tried trial and error over and over again.

Developer

Sorry to hear that. It's in cursive. In the guide in the description I wrote a bit more for the tutorial cards. But yeah I have some accessibility issues

I'm not sure if I'm playing right. When I run a test I always end up getting "Error 1: failed to execute". Is this the glitch, or am I doing something wrong?

Developer

Hey! Yes, it is one of the errors. The tutorial card hints at it, but you should generally counteract the error by adding something to the command, and compensating. In the fist level you have to put a "start" command right after the "wait" command is injected wrongly. I think it can happen too fast for people to notice, then

I wasn't really sure what to do. I couldn't really read the text and i felt like the game was unintendedly glitching a lot. Very good visuals and audio

Developer

You couldn't read the in-game text? Each level has its own glitch. The mouse eating the cheese is the trigger. You should change the command to get past it. As the tutorial card says, it seems that the first glitch makes you "wait" in place, so you should add a "start" action in order for the the following commands to execute
