Hello, I am writing a review.

I enjoyed the game and got an almost deathless playthrough. The two times I did die was because I was a bit confused about the shelters and got gassed, and the second time was because I underestimated how fast a giant hippo moves.

The duo levels weren't that bad in terms of difficulty, but that may just be because of the way of playing I developed.

The gameplay was fine, but there are a few issues and running around an empty street/corridor/road while the enemy is on the opposite end of the map gets stale very quickly. So I propose a couple of solutions.

Make the maps have gimmicks (the farm is very open, you can see the enemy clearly, but the enemy can also see you through the non-existent walls), have the characters also have gimmicks (because from the notes they very much sound like they have them. I tried getting the elephant to lead me to a crystal by letting her stare at me and she just killed me), and give the player magic! Or a skill-based movement system to combat the issue of having to hold W for a long time.

Magic as in abilities. A little speed boost, a distraction, a reduction in noise when running, a map ability that shows the position of the enemies, a spell to slow down the enemy as they chase you, a slot machine that gives buffs to you or the enemy, the possibilities are endless!

Or magic as in modifiers to spice up the gameplay. A few obvious ones, like more crystals, faster enemies, a faster player and a few creative ones, like hallucinations of the enemies so that you have to be on the lookout for fake copies that fool you into running into the real one!

Also to the other issues, the enemies like to slow down a lot when they know you are near (or slotting in the crystals). I had no idea what the enemies finding the crystals does, and I somehow got them to notice that 11 were gone (in a duo stage if it helps). And I would very much like a toggle crouch button.

I can't say much on the story because I didn't pay attention to it. I was like LET ME OUT LET ME OUT LET ME OUT!!!!!

Anyways, this is a great start to a hopefully bigger and better game. I would like to see the enemies in bigger sizes. Or us in smaller sizes.

Thanks for the honest feedback, taking note of it! Glad you had fun overall, I am listening to everyone feedback to shape the future of this game, for the story, I highly recommend you to follow a bit since this only the start of something bigger.
