How do you keep track of your tasks?

My husband and I took a break from building games and we are in the process of making a platform to organize game projects cause we haven't seen a good platform to keep game projects organized! Right now we are really wanting to get more info from other devs. How are you guys currently keeping you tasks, bugs, and assets organized? If you are working with other devs or designers, how do you stay organized when collaborating with them?

I've used Obsidian for over a year, and it has helped immensely with organization and recording :D It's a super robust, helpful offline organization tool I use to store worldbuilding notes, story outlines, tasks, game design documents, and more! You can categorize everything into notes and folders. Here's my current setup:

My projects are divided into Art, Writing, Gaming, and Worldbuilding. There are also more folders for miscellaneous stuff.

Another great thing about Obsidian is the abundance of official and community plugins that add even more features, like bases, audio recording, kanban boards, Pomodoro timers, slideshows, and word count.

The few times I made games in teams for game jams, we normally used a private Discord server to share and track everything. However, in my most recent game jam, my team and I also used Trello to track pending and important tasks, Milanote for moodboards, GitHub for sharing files, and Google Docs to write and edit our game design document. These greatly help with organization and productivity :D

Hope this helps, and good luck to you and your husband!
