Hi guys, I´m a UX/UI designer with 10 years of experience (on regular software) looking to enter the game development area. I want to help indie developers with UI art direction of their games to have some portfolio for myself.

I curently have one project from a simple game I made on Unity, you can check it out here - https://www.behance.net/gallery/256930903/Whispers-of-Kra-Dark-Fantasy-Game-UIUX

Hi! Endless Tower could be a relevant project for a first-pass UI review. I’m building a vertical tower-defense demo that runs in the browser: build floors, merge guardians and protect the crystal.

The main questions are the first session and the visual hierarchy: is the start action easy to find, are building and manually activated guardian powers understandable, and is it clear that merging costs a floor? The demo and its visuals are still in development.

Playable in English: https://yskillstudio.com/games/endless-tower/test/?lang=en

I’m attaching the current public build’s welcome screen, captured in an isolated demonstration. The screenshot is in French; the link opens English.

Would this fit the kind of UI work you’re looking for, and what scope and terms would you suggest for an initial review?

Hi! My name is José Maria; I’m a programmer and the leader of a small team I put together myself.

My team and I are looking for people who are motivated to learn and build their portfolios.

Our project is a 2D platformer that explores the grief and trauma of a boy trapped within his own mind; he must confront his traumas to escape his mental prison and overcome them. We are currently in the prototyping phase, working on mechanics and concepts. We don't have the budget to pay team members right now, but I guarantee that if the game generates a profit, you will be entitled to a share of the earnings.
