Hey, after your comment I stopped by and it's true we had a similar idea, haha. I really like the physics of the leaves when you collect them. And are the leaves on the tree a limited pool?
Yes the tree has an actual limited number of leaves so the longer you play, the more the tree becomes barren! There is a button to refill the tree tho so you don't get stuck :) I wanted it to really feel like the season was changing.
