I like the gnomes screaming as I shove them into the campfire. Pretty fun game overall, I lasted about 11 minutes I was just constantly regrowing the 2 trees near the campfire but i think i slipped up a bit and eventually froze to death
Yeah the balancing is still not right. I might have made it a bit too easy. But oh well, balancing will be tricky ☺️ I really wanted for you to be able to make more mistakes by accidentally messing up a working engine that you had to actively maintain. You slipping up was the intention, but not this late into the game 😁

This game was really fun and really well made. I loved the time management aspect while also trying to expand your circle of warmth. I found myself playing for much longer than I realized. Amazing job!

Don't feel bad! These guys know they died for the greater good (of you surviving an extra 3 seconds per villager)

Though I’m wondering what the wrench is for. Also, why do the villagers run away when I put them next to the campfire lol

Next: I tried to explain the wrench in the tutorial. It is used for 2 things:
And finally: The reason the villagers run away when you put them next to a campfire is because you just lit them on fire and they are screaming for their lives. If you don't put them out with the watering can they will burn to death haha 😅
The idea is that you build and maintain your base, but if you accidentally burn your wood or villagers down it is usually an accident and causes more chaos.

Addictive gameplay. Music in the main menu sounds good and funny.
I think if you would finish it can be pretty good small strategy for people who like frostpunk.
I love Frostpunk! I got it for free on the epic store and played it with no expectations and it blew my mind!
But this game was intended to be a lot sillier. The chaos of making mistakes and having to fix them. Frostpunk really was about brutal survival in extreme conditions.

Absolute banger.. So much fun and it looks so polished.. It's absurdity is not lost on me, hilarious game. Found the easter egg but it wasn't as hard as I was hoping it'd be, lol - Nice touch.. If you sync it up when the music cuts it adds a nice musical touch too WHHHAHHAOOOOOOOOOOOOAHH!

The tutorial felt just right (really well structured!), and the gameplay kept me hooked for a solid 15 minutes. Amazing work!

What I was trying to go for is to get you in a rhythm of maintenance with some controlled chaos due to mistakes. Glad to hear it seems that I managed to entertain you for 15 minutes 😀 at the end of the day that’s all I really want

Thanks Zohmer! It was only meant to be a goofy game where its easy to mess up under constant pressure of repetitive tasks. Hopefully your playthrough had some moments of unexpected chaos :-)
I am currently playing without a mouse, just the touchpad of my laptop. And my grand start began with me repeatedly failing to throw the villager onto the soil. I just kept missing it until he somehow started burning and died T-T AND IT'S DURING TUTORIAL
I never knew a jam game could make me laugh like a horse. Really can't comprehend the fact you've created this all alone... Incredible work, truly.

This game is such a blast! I really love how everything is coming together and how you made the throw & combine mechanic do so much work. Tossing everything feels nice and here is finally a game where I can toss some god damn wood in that fire from a mile away ahah. Congratz, it’s really well done!

You don't have to burn people! You can go the full pacifist route and come out on top.
But villagers do make good fuel sources...
I like the style and graphics. The controls are quite responsive and intuitive. I skipped the tutorial, so I didn’t immediately understand what I could do:)
