At first I lost a few times because I couldn’t get the firewood to the stove in the house in time. But then I realized I could build a huge firepit in the yard, and things got much easier :)
I liked that the game gets harder on its own as the timer runs down. At first you’re chopping the nearest trees, you don’t have to walk far, and keeping the fire going is easy. But the longer you play, the harder it gets: you have to go farther out, where the fire no longer protects you.
At one point there were 40 seconds left on the timer, I’d run out of firewood, and three snowmen attacked me deep in the forest. That was a really tense moment.
