Thank you for playing!

This really did feel like a full game. I loved the art for it. I did have a little bit of difficulty placing the work center in the tutorial it wanted it in a very specific spot and the marker was almost the same color as the sand, when I tried to place it anywhere else it wouldn't let me. Other than that little hiccup it was great. I loved the little skipping animation of the workers.

Thank you so much! 😄 I'm really glad you enjoyed the game, especially the art and the little worker animations!

And you're absolutely right about the tutorial! The hand indicating where to place the work center can blend into the terrain in certain biomes, especially sandy ones. I'll definitely take that into account. I'm also planning to allow players to freely choose where to place their work center in the next version, rather than forcing a specific spot.

There was very little time to develop so much content for the jam, so quite a few things still need some refinement. I'm actually working on a major update for after the jam, including a massive rewrite of the game engine. The goal is to turn something that was put together in a rush for a game jam into a much more polished and complete gaming experience.

Thanks again for playing and for taking the time to share such useful feedback! It really helps me improve the game! 😊

Wow, this felt like a full game, not a jam game! 🤩 The art is amazing, and I loved the environments: so much variety in the characters and locations. Really deep and polished. Great job, I loved it! 👏
One note about the controls, you can use the keyboard WASD for moving around quicklier! I think it will improve the experience. Great Job 😊

If you get a chance, I’d love for you to try mine too: Uninvited Chickos, a Halloween rhythm runner with two chickens escaping a goblin feast 🐔

Thank you so much! 😄 I'm really happy you enjoyed Wild Guardians! I've put a huge amount of time and effort into making it feel like a complete game, so hearing that it doesn't feel like a jam game really means a lot to me!

That's a great suggestion about WASD controls! I'll definitely keep it in mind for future improvements, as making navigation more comfortable is something I'd love to work on.

And I've just played Uninvited Chickos! I absolutely loved the pixel art and the retro atmosphere, especially the music. It really feels like playing a classic game from the 90s. I left you a review too!

Thanks again for playing and for the kind words! 😊
