I think this is kind of interesting for me to talk about since i had a similar game idea, anyways i feel like the player doesnt get enough feedback for their actions, i have no idea how to chop the tree down, it only worked sometimes, i have no idea what the 2 bars were for. The visuals were kind of charming and the atmosphere was good.

I understand that, and I apologize. This was my first, actual game, in like, 2 years, and this is my first game I've made that wasn't for school. I tried to keep it simple, but I fell into a state of "I did too much, so I didn't focus". I apologize for the lack of feedback. I tried to figure out how to add a Healthbar to the trees but I'ma be real, I couldn't. The two bars definitely did need an emblem to indicate what they were (to be clear, they're Stamina and Heat). I probably am not gonna continue developing the game, atleast for now, so I apologize again. Thank you for the compliments on the visuals, as, although they're just programmer art, I did get a few notes from a friend on the blocky style being charming. The lighting is fairly simple, though it was definitely my favorite part to add (even if it WAS a bit annoying.)
