Really nice concept! The arrow shooting feels super rewarding, and the day/night loop — safe by day, hazards at night — is a great hook that keeps you on edge. The one thing I kept wishing for was some music; even a simple ambient track would give it a whole different atmosphere and really pull you in. Awesome work!

If you get a chance, I’d love for you to try mine too: Uninvited Chickos, a Halloween rhythm runner with two chickens escaping a goblin feast 🐔

Wonderful little game! I may be slightly biased as I am a massive fan of werewolves, but I loved it! Managed to cleanse the village with only 1 casualty.

I thought it was a lot of fun and definitely would have large potential for the future with the myriad of customization you could add between different weapon types and the like. Also always promising to see a game where AI didn't heavily influence the design of the game.  I also thought that it was really cool that you worked on it with your daughter!

I think my favorite part was that getting cursed didnt just end the game, but still came with a heavy downside unless you cured yourself ahead of time. The scoreboard at the end was fun too and it would be great to see different reactions from the town based on how many you cured vs killed. Obviously that's a little out of scope most likely, but it sounds like it would be cool :D I hope you guys keep creating things!

Hi there, thank you so much. I cannot express how much this review means to me. I am so pleased you were engaged enough to complete the loop. Yes definitely had many more things in the "nice to have" backlog that time did not permit, but I really enjoyed the concept and may continue it further. I wanted to lean into the protagonist being the antagonist, so originally I played with the idea of losing control so the camera did not even follow the wolf and you would "wake up" in a strange part of the map not knowing what had happened - and maybe have to collect clothing and avoid authorities etc, but I could not think of an engaging set of actions to do at night time other than watch, and I didn't want it to become "Championship werewolf manager" and just simulate the nights attacks... especially as I had already built the infection system and state machines first.
Me too, I liked that technically there is no way to "die", the player can only end the game by different choices, the things that happen TO the player only affect the duration of the game.
I appreciate your time to feedback very very much! I will check out your entry when I have finished work :)
Hope to see you in the next jam

Love this game, the survival type.
overall its pretty good and have so much potential.
The sound of these wolf when catches you are scarry XD
For future, you can add more sfx for gathering, it can help a lot to know i have finished without looking at the numbers.
PS. the game was better played Fullscreen, i think you can force it in the project settings.
Great work!!

Hey thanks for playing, yes there are lots of sounds missing and other prompts, I didn't even have time for the menu screen :D - I submitted just 1m58s before deadline!

Good work! I wish I looked at the amount of arrows before shooting at every direction without stopping :D

Haha it originally started with none, so I am glad I gave you some at least!

Thank you for giving it a play. Ah true I did not optimise for itch screen, I should put a note that it is optimised for hd. I am still getting used to exporting screen ratios and converting to WebGL.
