Absolutely gorgeous, aesthetically cohesive, and delightfully bittersweet and moody. I loved the atmosphere throughout, and the sense of lost memories; beautifully executed in every regard. Well done to the team!
I’m really happy to hear that! The aesthetic was really a team effort and I’m super happy about how it came out!
The music was just so stunning, I couldn't help but have my fingers drift along with the strings and piano despite having no experience with either. Tears welled, and I was just amazed from the whole experience.
Thanks, that means a lot!
So satisfying! The watercolor aesthetic works well to translate the feeling of hazy memories, and the use of drifting, unconventional text boxes throughout drives that even further home (also must have been fun to program!). I'm also impressed by the motion effects throughout, and the clever use of assets with Adi & Frankie's sprites. The CG ending I got was also really touching, and I like the revealing layers of the story quite a bit - I'll have to try for some of the other endings too! Huge congrats to the whole team!!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment!
Honestly the team is so cool for all the things they did! And while I was less involved than other times, I’m very happy about the things that were achieved by everyone’s creativity! <3
Hope you enjoy the rest of the endings too!
This one made me cry.
Seriously this so beautiful. The watercolor style, the amazing animation work, wow I am at loss for words. Both Adi and Frankie look so cute. The amount of work in this, I can't even imagine.
If I had to come up with any critique it would probably that the font is at times slightly hard to read, still fine for me but it could be hard for some people. But holy cow did the speech bubble add to the atmosphere. And and yeah beautiful UI.
And the voice acting really brought the characters to life.
That moment at the end when the door was opened, pure cinema and wrapped up the theme nicely.
Thank you for making this game!
Even with my smaller involvement in this project in particular, I can’t help but be proud when I read how you felt about the game! The team is truly amazing <3
And noted about the font, I’ve noticed that too! Speech bubbles are really cool as an option to have your sprites move more around the screen, and EdgesSystem did great work of that!
Thank you for playing and commenting <3
so incredibly cute and heartwarming, I cried I almost made it but the voice acting at the end got me. Everything flowed together so well the UI is very unique. The art works so well.
This is such a sweet comment, thank you so much! I’m always happy to make emotional games hehe And the team worked so hard to make the game so cool!!!
