The save system isn't implemented yet. I'll be adding it in the next update.
So did I just run my pc for 17 hours to keep it open for nothing?
I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Please just remember that the game is still in development and many mechanics are still in an alpha state. The saving system is something I'm working on right now! :D
