Hey! Dropping some notes from playing through your entry. Massive props, especially knowing this was put together by a solo dev (tama ba? 😅). That is an incredible amount of work to pull off!

The art is amazing and super consistent. The tech art and lighting effects really set the mood, though you might want to add a flashing lights warning for sensitive players. It’s also really cool that each story ties into its own minigame; that must have taken a ton of effort.

A few bugs and QoL things I ran into:

  • The browser build loaded zoomed into the bottom-left quadrant, making it unplayable on web. I had to download it to get around this.
  • It’s a very dialogue-heavy game, but without a way to speed up the typewriter text, it takes a long time to get through everything. Took me about 60 minutes to finish.
  • Because the dialogue was so long (and hehe, I admittedly zoned out a bit), I got completely lost out in the village. An indicator telling you where to go would be nice.
  • During the night scene with the garbage, it’s hard to tell if you’re actually holding a trash bag.
  • Caught some slight dialogue errors (like “i got heard stories”) and the tone occasionally wobbles between child and adult.
  • This seems to stray from the “real life horror” theme 🤔

Since you mentioned you’re planning on finishing the game post-jam, I’m really looking forward to seeing where you take it from here! 🍻

Hi, thank you so much! The game you guys made is so good!! And yeah, you're correct about the solo dev; other than that, we have so many incredible artists too hehehehe
As for most of the stuff you mentioned (regarding the bugs and dialogues), it's going to be fixed and updated in the full version!  Which should be released either tonight (Oct 15) or tomorrow (Oct 16)! Just shy of the rating deadline.
