Thank you so much for reaching out, I genuinely didn't expect a response this quickly after waking up, and it means a lot that you took your time to look at Convergences and send your portfolio. I had a look at your work and it is genuinely impressive! And I'd love to hear more about what caught your interest in my project and what kind of contribution you'd be interested in making. Since Convergences is still early in development, I'm figuring out what roles are most needed, and I want to make sure whatever we build together is something you'd actually enjoy working on. And from what I have seen, you seem perfect to finally give this world its visual identity.
Now a few questions:
- What parts of the concept impressed/interested you the most?
- Are you interested in character/creature design, environment work, item, magic system art, or something else?
- What is your current availability, and what would a fair working arrangement look like to you?

Sorry if I reach out just now but I think we live in two different time zones. Unfortunately I couldn't download the TTRPG because for some reason the page is blocked, but I took a look at the presentation you made and I found it so interesting. The mainly reason why I wrote to you is because the lore really fascinated me and I love a project where the world building is so detailed and complex. I think is so interesting how the environment almost become a character because even the geology is alive and the "unfinished designs" is brilliant. The game play where you have to craft your own magic make me honestly want to start a campaign right now.
So only after reaching to you for the first time I saw that there is a lot of body horror and that is not really my comfort zone but if there are any character that don't need it I will be so happy to do the design as well as the props and the buildings. Also I have a degree in fashion design so maybe I can help a little bit with the costume. I don't know if you are interested but since it's a table-top role play I'm a learning how to model the miniatures.
After all of that I have to make a disclaimer tho, I'm not a professional in fact I just finished my degree and I know I still have lot to learn but if you are ok to collaborate with me even if it's my first experience I would be so happy
Right know I'm working part-time so I have some free time to dedicate to the project. I honestly don't care if you don't have a budget yet, I'm more interested into being a part of a team and making a project come to life . The only thing that is important to me (if you are ok with it) it's to give me the credit and the possibility to include my work into my portfolio (of course only once the project is released).
If you don't mind I also have some question for you.
-What are your plans for this project?
-If there will be a monetary income in the future are you planning to share it with the other members?
-What will your role be in the team?

It's fine! We really do live in different time zones, from what I have seen it's a 5 hours difference, but we can work with that! Hm I will have to look into that, but just as a heads-up, it's far from complete! The rulebook is still not written out yet as making an entire TTRPG by myself is quite hard and the pdf I sent is simply the introduction to it, but there is still a good portion made for the mechanics and such. Regardless, I'm very very happy to see my project get your kind of passion and interest! It really goes a long way to motivate me to make something great and beloved.
That's perfectly fine! There's plenty in the world that doesn't involve body horror, it is more restricted to certain magical afflictions connected to Crystalline Water and the art of Death in Alchemy, a bit in Medicry too. All of your abilities will be very appreciated! The world's design is something I have conceptually in mind as many nations and their culture/fashion are a mesh of different cultures respective to their rough location in Kigazdar, so your degree should definitely help, I also have a few design references! And the miniatures are for sure another good thing to have for later with 3D printing.
Honestly, the fact that Convergences is going to be your first experience is already an honor to me, I already find you extremely talented and creative, so watching you improve as you create is going to be an equally amazing first experience to me.
As for the time, likewise, I'm in university and so everything is not nearly as developed as I wished, even though progress is slow, it is progress! Also I really do appreciate the passion, it is exactly people like you who I wish to work with, and as for the credit, no problem at all to me, all due credit and work to the portfolio will be given.
For the questions:
- My plans for now are to make Convergences expand it into an open license franchise, with the completed TTRPG itself being the main objective to be released. The rest is up to fate and business I'd say, but I do hope one day to reach out to media producers for adaptations of the world, be it for movies, series, anime and whatever else it would be possible to achieve.
- Definitely yes, anyone that contributed to Convergences will have income. I cannot guarantee that there will be income since it would depend on the success of sales, kickstarters and general fundraising, but if there is, everybody in the team will be rewarded.
- My roles will be of a writer, for both game mechanics and lore, and team coordinator so to guide and steer the rest of the team to something I envision, though of course still considering your and the team's feedback and opinions. Occasionally image editor since I am getting used to that and perhaps (and hopefully) much later in the future an artist too to collaborate on the art department.
- This is my first project that I have publicly announced, though far from the only one I have in mind for the future! Once Convergences is all good and finished, I'll move straight into 1 of 2 other worlds cooking up in my head, perhaps be totally different from a TTRPG, they might even become an animated show or digital game!
