Hi everyone! I’m new to game jams and the GDevelop engine. I’m worried I won’t finish in time or that the project will end up feeling unfinished, so I wanted to ask: can a beginner like me participate in a game jam? Or is it better not to?
Please do (if you want). Whether you finish it or not you'll still get some experience and it can be lots of fun. Thi is my first game jam and honestly idk if i and my collaborator will finish, but still doing it anyways. It doesn't have to be smth big, simple and small can be fun, plus you can collaborate with others in the community. Good luck and have fun 👾.
