yh. But good thing there are LOTS of pre made assets form different websites including gdevelop! Some people are even creating posts showcasing their assets to use.
Well a ban seems too strict dont you think? I think it's better to encourage human art rather than an immediate ban. Honestly I wouldn't care since I like drawing. But yh I get what you mean with AI slop, I dont like it either.
Well i mean yh. Gdevelop literally has its own ai. So why not? Although itll be best to like not let it do the whole code for you since its experimental. I'd encourage it. You can learn a lot even if you don't finish the game
Although this is my first jam, I've watched videos of the last game jams held and there's smth I like about it... The jam themes dont use stuff like : Halloween, Platformer, Baking, Action etc. Basically not genres . They use words that give lots of creative freedom, allowing you to make it how you want, as in what genre, what style etc. I find that really cool 🙃
Well me and my partner are already a duo and we want it to stay that way, but there are lots of people here looking for partners. Just create a post looking for a partner and be sure to check out the ones made by others.
Please do (if you want). Whether you finish it or not you'll still get some experience and it can be lots of fun. Thi is my first game jam and honestly idk if i and my collaborator will finish, but still doing it anyways.
