Hi! I'm a native Chinese speaker looking to gain experience in game localization. I translate English into Simplified Chinese and would love to help bring more indie games to Chinese-speaking players!

I have experience working on a personal game localization project, including translation and terminology management.

I'm open to volunteer projects. All I ask for is:

  • Permission to include my translations in my professional portfolio
  • An in-game translator credit

Feel free to reach out if you're interested!

Hey there! I sent you a friend request on Discord. I'm interested in getting my game localized into Chinese. Currently, the game is localized from Spanish into English, Portuguese (BR), Japanese, and Italian. With any luck, I'll be adding Russian localization today, and it would be amazing to have the Chinese text as well

If that works for you, we can finish discussing things that way; naturally, you’ll be credited in both the game's opening and closing menus and in the game page. Each name in the credits menu will link to the social media platform of your choice. Although the game doesn't generate revenue—since it is completely free and playable in a browser (no downloads required) on PC, phone, or tablet—I do plan to contact everyone involved later on, for paid. I want to add more text in a major update before publishing the game on the Play Store but that will be in the future.

Thank you so much for your help with my game’s localization! I was really impressed by how quickly you completed the work, and even more by the care you put into checking the results in-game and sharing useful feedback to help make everything better.

It’s a pleasure to work with someone who cares about more than just delivering the translation, and who takes the time to help ensure the final experience feels right for players. I truly appreciate your effort and would happily recommend your work to other developers!

Hi! I’m developing Endless Tower, a browser tower-defense demo about building floors, merging guardians and protecting a crystal. The public demo already offers Simplified Chinese, and the game and its visuals are still in development.

Would proofreading an existing interface fit your volunteer offer, and are you available for a small first pass? The main areas would be the opening instructions, guardian-power terminology and explaining that a merge costs a floor.

Demo: https://yskillstudio.com/games/endless-tower/test/?lang=en — Simplified Chinese can be chosen in the language selector.

I saw your credit and portfolio requirements. Scope, credit and portfolio use would need to be agreed before any work starts; I’m checking whether the project is a good fit first.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! I'd be happy to help with a small first pass of the Simplified Chinese UI proofreading.

Could you let me know roughly how many strings need reviewing and how you'd prefer me to submit feedback?

As you mentioned, we can confirm the scope, credit, and portfolio use before getting started.

Hello, I'm new translator from Russia, and I want to talk with you: discuss any translations and ask some advice! pls, if you agree: my discord — n_anab
