Once you have all the conditions complete for all five dreams on one run, you're soft-locked - completing a dream opens the "choose next dream" window, and you can't interact with anything else but that window. Selecting a dream immediately opens the "step x/5 complete" windows, and if you have all conditions fulfilled for all dreams then it will go straight into the congrats screen & back into the "choose next dream" window.
The sim has been celebrating complete dreams for hours now and just wants to rest lol
