I’m ew.DARK, and I’d like to help people with their indie projects by providing music. I don’t charge for my work.

I’ve been involved in music for three years now. I’ve worked with a popular streamer (you can find out who it is and exactly what I did for him on my website).

I can create soundtracks in styles such as horror, ambient, electronic, and EDM, as well as music inspired by the 80s and 90

I have a website where I’ve shared more about myself.

If you have a project that needs music, no problem — I can help! :)

I work in FL Studio. I have Analog Lab 5, Serum 1/2, and a bunch of high-quality plugins for creating great soundtracks. IMPORTANT: I do not use AI in my music production.

Here are the genres in which I can create soundtracks (if the genre you need isn’t on the list, I’ll learn it—or you can simply provide a few pointers!):

Ambient, lo-fi, trap, synth-pop, pop, EDM, post-punk, punk, rock, alternative rock, electronic music, medieval-style, horrorcore, heavy metal, witch house, house, 90s-style synth sounds, old-school rap, R&B, jazz, smooth jazz, music in the style of the 50s–90s, epic music, retrowave, Sovietwave, folk, phonk, Memphis phonk, RAW phonk, deep house (as well as many other subgenres within these categories).

I look forward to collaborating! (Just a reminder: I work for free. You’re welcome to credit me as the composer, but it’s not required.)

If you have a project, write to me here or via email (you can find my email address on my website).

Good luck with your projects )))

Hey ew.DARK!

I came across your post offering to compose music for indie games, and I'm really interested in potentially collaborating!

I'm developing Elemental Arena under Flair Studios, a third-person fantasy game built in Unreal Engine 5. It features competitive PvP combat with seven different elements, alongside a separate open-world PvE adventure.

The project is already playable and actively being developed, although the art and audio still need a lot of work.

I'm looking for someone who could help establish the game's musical identity, particularly a memorable main menu theme, competitive battle music, and atmospheric fantasy exploration tracks.

I noticed you work with electronic, ambient, and medieval-inspired music, which I think could be a great combination for the game's style.

I'm currently working with no budget, so I appreciate that you're offering to collaborate for free.

Would you be interested in discussing the project? I'd also love to hear some examples of your previous music to see whether our styles align.

Thanks!

Hi, Lonely_flair. Thanks for your interest in my post—I’m very glad I can be of help. Your proposal sounds intriguing, and I’m open to discussing the details of the work. Just a heads-up: my spoken English isn’t quite good enough for real-time voice conversations, but I’d be happy to discuss the project via Discord chat.

Regarding your request to hear some of my music: I can prepare 2–3 test tracks for you and your team so you can see if my style is a good fit for the project.

Could you tell me a bit more about the project itself? What’s the atmosphere like in the game world—are there any dark undertones, perhaps? And what time period is the game set in?
Thanks for reaching out!

Love that you call out no AI in your music. I made a free site where game devs browse composers and sound designers and hear their work, would be cool to have your horror and 80s stuff on there: https://composerscout.com

Thank you for the suggestion; the site made a great impression on me. I think that as soon as I have a bit more free time, I will definitely post some of my work there. Thank you for your interest.
:)

Hello ew.DARK! We are a small indie-development team based on creating interactive content in our community (1.3k members) and right now we are searching music composer for trailers and the future game event on our website (in development rn), so we are interested in you're works! :)

Are you still available for work or are you already busy?

Hi 1x1 Studio! I’m open to collaborating; my schedule is pretty packed, but I’ll definitely make time for you. I can’t promise an instant reply, but I’m definitely interested in working together. Discord is probably the best way to get in touch—you can find my username on the site. Send over your idea, and I’ll turn it into music.

:)
