Theme was perfect fit for a halloween jam. Aesthetically low poly and lights added a lot to really enjoyable scene. Simple sound effect which were just right for the actions. Mechanics is nothing difficult, easy to handle. Only I dont understand why there were 2 inventory slots you need to switch in between. For the story there was basically non.

Overall game is nice, simple and enjoybale focusing mostly on the mechanics with simple assets. For a a one man show this is very nice piece of work.

Nice job. I like the cemetery design! Good luck!
If you have some time tell me what you think of my game... Cheers 😁

I liked the idea and look of your very much. My only complaints are the "night time bug sounds" were drilling into my ears, which didn't seem to fit the cozy vibe you seem to be going for and I wish I could move around quicker. Enjoyed my play-though all the same though.

Wow, what a beautiful game. A very well thought out level. The SFX are perfect.

However, I couldn't get to 'E' the work sometimes. I picked up 2 candles, and 1 flowers, but when I tried to leave the candle at the appropriate grave marker it would not take it.

I have an extremely large monitor so not sure if that would affect it.

So, I see you used unity. What did you use to set up the camera the way you did, and how hard was it to import the models into Unity? I am thinking of switching from Raylib and 'C' to a game engine and would appreciate any advice. I am torn between Godot and Unity

Thanks for a wonderful game.

Sorry to hear that had problems interacting with the environment sometimes, I'm glad you liked it though.
As for your questions:

  1. The models used are from a pack (kaykit). Used the fbx. The usual import in Unity works well by dragging the models into the inspector. There is a thing to take in consideration though when importing models from blender, because unity uses Y as vertical axis and blender uses Z. there is an export option in blender to fix it though.
  2. For the camera, not that difficult to implement it with Unity. There is a Unity package called Cinemachine that makes camera managing quite simple (can do follow cameras, orbital ones, third person "over shoulder", transitions like in old RE games, split screens and lot more)

For the Godot-Unity, I've only used Unity and has a lot of packages that can make things easier but there's the issue of knowing about all of them. I want to try Godot too, but finding time is hard XD

This is a fun game! Didn't use too much of the stealth aspect and tried to sprint past everything 😅

I did the same while testing, running is always an option.
I thought on limiting stamina (timer and cooldown) but ended up adding ghosts instead :D.
