Hi! My teammate and I are looking for a Sound Designer to join our small indie team.

We are developing a horror game in Unreal Engine 5. The game itself is already almost complete — the main things left are sound, cutscenes, and final polishing.

We need help with the game’s audio: soundtrack/music, ambience, interaction sounds, UI sounds, horror/scare sounds, and other SFX.

This is an unpaid collaboration with full credits.

If you are building your portfolio, this can be a good opportunity to work on and showcase a nearly finished real project, instead of only having a few separate tracks or sound samples.

More information about the project is available in DMs.

Thanks!

Is this revshare?

Yes, we’re open to revenue share. The exact percentage would depend on how much each team member contributes to the project.

We’re currently planning to keep around 40–50% of future revenue reserved for contributors and further development of the game. If we build a small team of enthusiasts who stay with the project for future chapters and updates, their work would be compensated from that share.

The current version is almost finished and has around 2–3 hours of gameplay. We haven’t fully decided yet whether it will be released as a demo or as a paid first chapter / standalone release, with future content released as additional chapters.

Thanks for the info'. :) Well, in that case I'd like to throw my hat into the ring.
Please drop me a line on Discord and I can send you my portfolio, etc.
Thanks!

Hey! I’m an independent music producer going by Tonari-G, and I’m looking to collaborate with indie game developers,

My music is mainly electronic, with dark, atmospheric, melodic and sometimes experimental elements. I’m especially interested in projects with a strong visual identity and a distinctive atmosphere. I also make sounddesign and little animation.

I really like the design of the game, I’m open to collaborating on an indie project to build experience and create something unique together.

Here’s my music: www.youtube.com/@tonari-g

If you’re still looking for a composer, I’d love to hear more about the game and the kind of soundtrack you have in mind!

Thanks for your time!

Hello! If you're in need of someone to bring out an unsettling ambient that also combines futuristic/metallic like sounds, I can help invite that atmosphere. I will be upfront that my strong suit isn't horror, but unique sound design is something I prioritize and want to keep refining on. Either way, best of luck to your project!
