"low hanging fruit" really, there are one or two that really try, but 99% are really just a 30 1-minute gen images put in a renpy visual novel style. There are few where is an actual dev trying to do something real and just not having the artistic workforce to back him/her up.

Visually Similar? Like Demon Deals by Breadman
There really is not a game that comes close to Starmaker in both. Maxs Life by Kuggazer is a left field suggestion, but this is a 3D art style and the women are not quite as curvy (well besides the woman you start the milk farm with, she is nice on the eyes....)
