Great little game! It played like a satisfying puzzle, where I figured out the best way to crunch the leaves and learned the speaking patterns of the memorial over a few runs
The leaves were pretty satisfying to crunch! I'm not sure if Grandma was supposed to show up after maxing out the player's happiness like in the screenshots because she didn't for me. Regardless, the challenge was fun!
Once you beat the game, you unlock free play mode where you can crunch the leaves with granny! It will show up as an enabled button in the main menu :D
Oh I missed it, that sounds adorable!
Great art and love the audio! It might be a skill issue but I could not beat the game haha. I enjoy the game though!
Thank you! One tip, jumping on the leaves will give you bonus points so I recommend using that to your advantage ;D
Very sweet and polished! The screen getting darker and instantly snapping back to brightness after stepping on a leaf is just beautiful.
Thank you!! We thought that would be a fun touch :)
Pretty heartwarming game. Making it so the game gets brighter as you progress is such a good idea. The art style is adorable too.
thank you!! we wanted the vibe to match with your happiness :D
When I started to read the description I thought this would be pretty sad but it is actually really sweet. The art is very good and I like the sound of the crunchy leaves :)
I feel like there could be more things besides the leaves like obstacles or different kind of leaves so I would need the jump more.
Still it was a nice and short game and the things in it were very polished and smooth. Good job!
thank you!! this game was very much inspired by how fun it is to crunch on leaves in fall (our first title was crunchy leaves lol) and also totally agreed on the feedback. if I had more time, I would’ve loved to add more variation to the game
