Super fun, super slick and the pumpkins are literally super juicy. Everything just feels so professional and well-thought, 5/5 without a doubt. ദ്ദി •⩊• )

Mhm, if being nitpicking maybe decrease the spawn rate of skeleton mage or increase the camera panning speed a bit. The fireballs cooked my pumpkin once in my first playthrough.

Crazy amount of art in this, it all looks so sick! I agree with what someone else said about the mages because often they would spawn and get a hit in before I even knew they were there. Super fun game though!

Developer

Thanks! I played a lot with the spawn rate to try and find something that was a good pace—they're definitely fast to jump back into the action in the current build, but it makes for some really close calls and forces players to stay on top of the field. Did you try adjusting the camera speed instead (check the Options menu) to see if that helped you stay on top of the incoming forces?

Good stuff as always! My only real complaint were the mages, those guys were really the only thing dealing damage to me and it was mostly just because of how far I had to scroll to knock 'em down every time. I didn't really feel the limitation much there, though - at first I thought the level changes were just tied to me buying upgrades up until I went to review and it clicked that it was because I was "looking away" lol

Developer

Thanks! FWIW I made the camera speed adjustable (check the Options menu) as some players felt similarly during early play testing, but then others felt like it was too fast when I increased it. In addition to the level changes, the enemy spawns are also triggered when you look away. The level changes are tied to the number of kills on the field, so a smart strategy is to buy up pumpkins and build up as much $ as you can on earlier levels before the difficulty ramps. Getting that fire upgrade early lets you breeze through those later levels due to its AOE damage XD

This game was the very first one my eyes where drawn to click it. I like the way the way you guys use the palette coloring it gives so much creepyness. i could play this game none stop. very polished

Gorgeous artwork! No notes, it was immaculate.

Very fun as well, I liked how the limitation was tied into level changes only while you were busy upgrading at the shop, and how the limited pumpkin ammunition forced the player to return to the shop every so often. Controls were intuitive, although the camera panning felt a little "loose" somehow? Audio was fantastic, both sound effects and the music fit the whole vibe perfectly.

I also loved the outrageous amounts of juice put into everything. Even the cursor feedback on every click/launch was incredibly satisfying. Fantastic work.

  • One of my faves so far!! There's a lot going on here; you have to make sure you have money for pumpkins and make sure you are getting your upgrades on time. During one of my rounds I had a projectile enemy out of range, and I was trying to save up for better pumpkins but he kept making me have to buy the fertilizer LOL.
  • Really really good music
  • I enjoyed trying to use the bounce to try to hit enemies that had a second level above them

This was a really great experience! Fast paced and exciting. I think the jack-o-lantern was a little too high priced, (or maybe I just kept on getting hit)

Only found one bug: I missed whatever the end of the game was, cause I opened my shop after the last two died, Whatever stats or talking was going on was covered up by the shop window that couldn't close

I must say I very much enjoyed the game. It was truly amazing. The game music is great as well as sfx. It's simple to understand, nice way of changing levels. Art style is awesome as well. Truly great job. Maybe having a miniboss after a few levels and then an actual boss would be cool, maybe even turning it into something bigger with setting up traps and all during the day and fighting off undead during night. But even without all of that great work :D

The way that I wanted an extra week to add at least one boss fight here... it would have made this the perfect experience! Spike and candy corn traps were also planned as well, but as you know... scope has gotta get cut somewhere. Thanks for playing!

Found myself staying on the main menu just to listen to the music for an entire loop, the intro and level change sequences are really cool. The effect of removing instruments from the song and muffling while in the shop is such a cool idea. Can't get over how good the in-game music I was tapping along my clicks to it so this game must have been a blast to play test getting to listen to this banger for hours. The artstyle is incredibly detailed for pixel art looks perfect.

Everything in the UI and game felt clean and JUICY loved it. Obligatory flex that I got this delicious slice 💪

I like how the level changes as you buy more upgrades for your pumpkin, making the game less repetitive. The art and music are really good too. Good amount of polish as well.
