Very fun! And cute artwork as well, very much enjoyed playing the game :)

The auto-fire mechanic is a neat idea, so the focus is really on movement and chosing the upgrades wisely.

I was very bad during my playthrough though haha

This is pretty impressive for a 2 day jam! it's quite polished and satisfying to play, but as others have said, you become invincible after a few minutes - but this type of game can be notoriously difficult to balance! Definitely lots of potential here. Thanks for jamming with us :)

Ok so this is super fun and addicting. It's like the last game jam I did- Shell Shot- but better in my opinion and the balance of upgrades was done extremely well. Really enjoyable gameplay loop, and very rewarding. The difficultly curve is not perfect but for 48hrs it is extremely close. Great work! I had to make myself stop.

This is a lot of fun! I got to level 44 at 6:11, basically a walking army. I love that the first big green one comes out pretty early, before the player is really ready to deal with it. It adds a lot of tension, and I think that could be a good strategy/mechanic for keeping the tension up as the goes longer. Awesome work!

Level 35 @ 5:00 minutes and I was basically invincible. Amazing concept and execution! This was really fun. I'd love to see this built out more with increasing challenging and powerful monsters.

yayy! Thank you so much for your comment!
I'm glad you liked it, and I will definitely keep working on it!  <3

Concept: nothing new and a bit loose on the theme but it works.

Gameplay: survivors-likes are never not fun if done well. I feel like it would need a bit more content like enemies and abilities for it to reach its potential, but for a solo project it's very good and polished. Works well, didn't encounter any bugs.

Art: it's simple but very consistent, for a solo project it's very good.

Audio: nothing ground breaking but its very fitting and polished.

Nice and polished submission overall, for a solo project it's really impressive. Nicely done!

Really appreciate your feedback! It was my first solo project and my first time using Godot as well, but I think it turned out pretty consistent hahaha.
I will definitely be working on more upgrades and enemies in the future and see how far I can take the concept!
Thanks again for playing and for your comment <3!

I made it 2:50! The gameplay was intuitive, which is good. I felt like each upgrade was useful. good job!

Nice survivor like, movement felt good, and you picked a good set of upgrades for a small jam. I went heavy on orbit skulls first then finished off with wil-o-wisps.

Developer

Yes, in the future I'll slow the progression down, but for this jam I think it was nice to feel a bit overpowered hehehe. Thanks for playing! <3

so fun! i tapped out at level 24, i rly enjoyed all the will-o-wisp upgrades, i felt very powerful towards the end. art is rly good too and i appreciate the disclosure on using AI for de-bugging. well done! would maybe suggest more sfx volume tuning as some felt a lot louder than others.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'll review the sounds in the future for sure (I didn't have much time hahaha). Glad you enjoyed it!

Super fun game. It definitely has Vampire Survivors vibes, which isn't a bad thing.
