Intriguing little game with quite a bit of replay value. Everyone has believable motivations, no matter how depraved. The art style’s appealing and the music is pretty decent for Google Song Maker.
One small error I noticed was the choice “I saw Caleb do it.” There’s no character named Caleb but Diego reacts to it
Ugh, thanks for noticing that error! I initially named him Caleb but changed my mind later in development, missed a spot changing his name in the script it seems hah, will make sure to fix after jam period. Thank you for playing!!
Was honestly not expecting the direction this took, with the cut away scenes feeding into the fractured theme of the jam very well. There were some spelling and grammatical errors in the game, but those are bound to happen when speed running making a game in a couple weeks time. This was an intriguing short story that moved a hair fast, but again, short window likely necessitated making it move fast. I also loved the art style used in this game, and look forward to hopefully seeing more games in this style from you. :D
The art style is awesome and the setting intriguing, of course it could've been longer but I also appreciate that it was short, since reviewing as many game as possible is hard as it is :D But yes, I think you could publish a real game with your art style, it's so cozy to look at. The colours are also very well picked.
Very solid, concise VN about relevant modern day stuff. I thought some of the characters changed their behaviors a little quickly but I think its an appropriate pacing for a short story like this. Good job!
I absolutely love the art style, and I had a really good time playing it. The game is fun, charming, and really well put together. Great job!
I enjoyed the game, and I think you did a really nice job with the story and the jam's themes. I also really liked the characters, art style, and the cover art. Keep at it!
