Fun game that really appeals to me as a Slay the Spire addict. The mysterious vibe and nautical theme are intriguing and I like how it’s based on a public domain text, as well as the fact that even the most basic gameplay elements have an attached narrative. But other than that, there’s no gameplay mechanics that are really distinct from STS. I’m also still not quite sure what Powder does

Intriguing little game with quite a bit of replay value. Everyone has believable motivations, no matter how depraved. The art style’s appealing and the music is pretty decent for Google Song Maker.
One small error I noticed was the choice “I saw Caleb do it.” There’s no character named Caleb but Diego reacts to it
Walkthrough
ENDING 1 Feed Mother exactly 3 eggs. The top two platforms have the illusion of being lower than they really are. To get to the top right, stand on the top and jump while pressing right (going down-right). From the top right, you can get to the top left by jumping while pressing down (going down-left). Afterwards, stand on Mother to get this ending.ENDING 2 Feed Mother all 4 eggs or wait one minute without feeding Mother. Interact with her to get this ending.
ENDING 3 There are, in fact, not 4 walls in this room; you can walk off either front edge and fall. Do so to get this ending.
ENDING 4 (TRUE ENDING) Did you know you can push Mother? Push her off the edge to get this ending.
I have no idea how to complete the hostage subplot. I tried showing her every package and every gun, and nothing’s changed. And since this is a game jam game that came out literally yesterday, I can’t just look up a guide. That said, I do like the characters and general vibe, and the 2D-cutouts-in-a-3D-world aesthetic isn’t something I see a lot. One of the coworkers just being a normal ass seagull was hysterical
Charming little game. Cart was fun to control, but I do wish there was a map
Noticed a few major bugs:
- There are a few NPCs that don’t do anything when you talk to them (were they cut during development?)
- The music doesn’t loop, so I spent most of the game in eerie silence
- The .exe doesn’t work because it’s missing the .pck file
