Hello! I'm Obbo and I'm a fairly new content creator. I initially covered ROBLOX games but have made the switch over to indie games!

I'm looking for long-ish games/demos to cover! My ONLY requirement though for genre is it not be horror! As far as my content goes, I lean more towards a comedic/humorous approach to gaming. So if that interests you, shoot your game(s) my way :D

Oh and another thing, I recently have dabbled in streaming game jams! I streamed around 30 or so games from Jamsepticeye already on twitch so if you are curious the VODs are currently up on my channel still. If you are in any game jams, feel free to reach out to me because I'd love to check them out! if I'm already streaming you are more than welcome to pop in and recommend your games (jams or not) in my chat!

Here are my links:

Hi Obbo. You can try Back From The Tavern for the comedic touch I gave it. Your feedback is very welcome.

Hello there

I have a few games that might interest you, I'll just put the top 3 and you can look in my page for more.
Also, I'll only put the overall genre and you can look in the game page for more info.

The Tower Master's Treasure Hoard, a retro roguelike deckbuilding turn-based dungeon crawler. | 10-30 minutes | Web, Windows, Linux, Android |

Final Boss Fight, a short retro local-multiplayer (play with a buddy on the same keyboard) boss fight (one of you is the boss). | ~5 minutes | Web, Windows |

Tiny Dungeon, a difficult low-poly 3d action platformer. | 10-15 minutes | Web, Windows, Android |

Would appreciate a review / feedback / playthrough of any one you would like.
Thanks!

If you're up for a humorous point and click style game (although it uses a controller/ keys), you might enjoy Five Day Detective!

The demo is about 30 mins to an hour long, depending on how quickly you solve the puzzles...

Please let me know if you have any questions- and good luck with your channels!

Killing Machine Movement

It's free. It's absolutely long. It's hard, so try to persist. Or don't and give it a bad review, it's ok.

It's also definitely a comedy. Well... We think it's funny. The whole game is kind of a joke also in a way ;D

Free, short, bit on the wild side of humour.

I’m cooking a powerful “Powerful Pixel Art StepMania clone” capable of running almost any StepMania chart

If you like pixel art and rhythm games you might want to try this

hey there,  i really appreciate new content creators approaching the indie genre, as im sure there are a lot of hidden gems, which may not look as sharp as CoD but its made out of pure love for the process of creating fictional environements aka creating games, which often have to be payed in front up by the creator, in case he's in need of tools, assets, etc.... also managing the DAMN mass of social media is a pain in the backend  (ARSE).....however even thou you said you are more into humourus games, i could make 2 suggestion of games by me which bear my abstract sick mind (tourette-syndrome)'s faeces in the form of a game hahah no its not that bad i swear...i have posted trailers of my games as well,  so it might be easier for you to decide whether it would fit your channel or not :)

my retro-shooter Kill Will it takes it self not very seriously and a lot of bad jokes hidden within npc interactions :D anyway maybe this could fit your genre, but you have to take caution, this game is made to be played tactical, so DONT RUSH it or YOU WILL DIE :D

[UPDATED]: linked the reuploaded LILA video, but sadly due to problems with my youtueb account the killwill trailer aint available at the moment, i hope il find a backup copy somewhere in my backups..

he second suggestion i could advice is another retro-shooter by me called LILA (--> read the story im sure you haven't heared of such an "unique" approach to retro-FPS lol ...

best regards, love and peace <3

just as a disclaimer. at least for me youtube videos are not available on your post. maybe you have some restrictions ?

sorry check again now....

it works. wow. just now i saw it's almost 1y old. sorry

Sorry for resurrecting old thread but I just found it out.

Another small channel here doing the same thing, No Time For Reviews on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@NoTimeForReviews , indie only, no horror requirement on my side. Devs in this thread, feel free to send me a key as well.

Obbo, since we're both on the receiving end: I'm building a thing where devs find channels like ours by what we already cover and send the key directly, no subscriber minimum. It's called coverMyGame, not open yet. If you want a look: https://covermygame.com/waitlist?side=creator&from=itch

Hey Obbo! 😄

We saw your post about looking for indie games to play on your channel and thought we'd introduce ourselves!

We're a small team of beginner game developers from Brazil, and we've been working on a project called KRUMALO.

It's a strategic idle auto-battler where you recruit characters, build teams, discover ability combinations, and watch your strategies play out in automatic battles.

And don't worry, it's not a horror game! 😂

🎮 You can play it free in your browser:
https://lucasem.itch.io/krumalo

We're still very early in our game development journey, and getting honest feedback from content creators would be incredibly valuable.

We'd love to see how someone approaches our game for the first time, which mechanics make sense, and which ones might be confusing or frustrating.

If you think it could make for an entertaining video or stream, that would be awesome! But even a quick opinion would help us learn.

Thanks for giving indie developers a chance!

— The KRUMALO Team

Hi,

I also have 2 games that I think would worth some attention. I'll share the links to demo editions but if you want to stream I can also share a key for the full ones as well:

Running Late! https://kibbitz.itch.io/running-late-demo
Last Warmth: https://kibbitz.itch.io/last-warmth

Let me know what you think

Hi Obbo! Since you're coming from Roblox, a life sim might suit your audience. I made PingLife, a free browser game in the style of BitLife, but your whole life arrives as texts on a phone.

There's also a "Life of the Day" mode where everyone gets the same life, so your viewers could play the same one and compare how far they got.

https://pinglife.itch.io/pinglife

Do you prefer short games you can finish in one video, or ones you can come back to?

Hi Obbbo!

I think I've got just the game for you!

Here is my game called Dummy Island and despite the crappy store page, I swear it's peak. It's a survival game with tons of possibilities. And there is an ending to this game.

Playtime is approximately 3 hours.
