Really neat concept that hearkens back to classic neopets and club penguin flash games that heals a spot in my soul. Finished on my second go. using the enemies as your light source is a really cool idea! I do agree with the sentiment that you can sort of just hold the spacebar down and treat the game like a regular platformer though. Still, a short fun romp with a neat twist towards the end that had the blood pumping!

This is pretty hard! I do love a good cloning machine, and when your survival is only the 2nd priority you know the Company/your mission has its priorities in the right place. I wished I could see level geometry further away because it was hard to remember where I was going from attempt to attempt. I haven’t completed the mission

Pretty cohesive with the art, I liked the main character art a lot. Same with the SFX and ambient music, seemed to fit well. Vibes were there. Gameplay was a bit too simple for me, maybe if there was more structure to the level or a bit more interesting difficulties like some slow large monster instead of a ton of small monsters to avoid.

I really enjoyed this! I wish there was something at the end that showed the ship more, I didn't realize I had made it to the end until I hit it so I would've liked to see the design of it better.

this is a pretty innovative entry: a reverse platformer, enemies as light source, "cloning" instead of dying haha :) i had a bit of a hard time adjusting to the mechanics at first (noted I am bad at platformers) but i did figure it out after a few clones... nice job!

Using enemies as the main light source is cool

I got it first try!! Eat it, clones of me who will not exist.

Tbh, when I first realized what this was I wasn't planning on sticking with it long, because I hate platformer stages revolving around darkness. They drive me nuts. But this did the smart thing of having the enemies illuminated to, and there were no spikes to worry about bumping into. This alleviated that BS factor that I feel like games/stages revolving around this gimmick rely on.

That said... As BC mentioned, I soon realized I could just hold the space bar to stick to the floor. This seemed like the safest way to go about things - just hug the walls and be patient. Maybe an oxygen meter or something of the sort can help introduce tension in a different iteration! Regardless, I got invested enough to see it through to the end.

Good visuals, nice use of darkness, good sound design too. I felt like there could have been more feedback with taking damage/etc., but there's a lot to be impressed with here.

A neat concept to have a kind of reverse-platformer where pressing a button causes you to fall downwards instead of go upwards! I was a bit unclear on the lightning bolt pickups, though. I'm not sure what they were for, maybe for making your headlamp light brighter? That didn't seem to make much of a difference though, if it was getting brighter I didn't notice, but also all of the things that can hurt you glow, so the headlamp only really served to get a better sense of the terrain.

The gravity boots also felt a little inconsistent at times - I found myself mostly either holding it all the time to move along the floor as if I was playing a platformer, or tapping it to float in place, which felt kind of tenuous. Holding the grav boots accelerates very quickly, which could feel unpredictable at times.

The red jellies near the end were a good addition to provide some tension, since through the rest of the map, it's mostly about staying patient and moving carefully, but the red jellies force you to keep moving and potentially take some risks
