Wow this was harder than I initially expected :) But very addictive and engaging, also nice for speedrunning. Definitively deserves more than 6 votes, you should post in on GWJ's Discord to get more engagement in jam-submissions channel or even write on some other current jam related channel that you would love to get more ratings and feedback (unless of course you don't want to). The only downside for me was weird controls, ability to remap or use something different than k/j would be more intuitive (but that might be just me, or maybe you intended the game to be played using a controller, then all good).

Developer

Thank you! :D Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah fair point about the controls, definitely something to keep in mind for next time. I appreciate the Discord suggestions too! I think I’ll let this one rest for now but I’ll keep that in mind for future jams. I’m always happy to hear feedback though I’ve already got a few things I want to do differently for my next jam. Already looking forward to the next GWJ!! ^V^ Good luck with your submission!!

Nicely done! I like the style that you went for and the stomp mechanic. I especially loved to chain the stomps throughout the game.

Developer

Thank you! ^V^ I couldn’t get the idea I envisioned across but I’m glad you had fun in some way at least. Thanks again :)

I loved the pacing and the music! The controls were quite challenging, but I think that’s part of what makes the game fun.

Developer

Thanks a lot for trying it out! Yeah the player controller is held together by prayers TvT.

Dylan and I played your game and really enjoyed the Geometry Dash style gameplay with a twist! We did have to mute the tab, though, as the music were a little too loud.

Feedback: It would be great to have volume sliders so players can adjust the music and sound effects independently!

Thanks so much for playing! ^V^ Audio was actually the very last thing I squeezed in during the final hour before the deadline, so it was definitely a bit rushed! I will definitely take this into account for future projects. Thanks again for taking the time to test it out!

Wow! Pleasantly surprised by the vibe. Great art, sound design and direction.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! Time management definitely caught up with me on this one but I’m glad to get the build out. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

If Mario could do flips! I found it satisfying to time my jumps. Nice work.

Developer

I wasn’t expecting a play tester this early into the jam (especially since I haven’t even properly designed the game page or icon) Thanks for playing ^v^
