Update for everyone who tried the game or left feedback here: thank you!

The game is now called Settling in Another World (Isekai Life was the earlier working title). The new build is up on the same page, and a lot of it came straight from this thread:

  • Running no longer slides. The character stops immediately.
  • Seed planting and watering are more accurate.
  • The fishing screen blur is fixed.
  • Pressing E now picks the right target when several things are in reach (Besa in the field, the chest next to the bed).
  • The first-launch master volume is lower.
  • Click-to-move, more save slots, and a proper startup menu are in.
  • Townspeople now talk about prices, supply, and what you sold, so the economy is visible instead of hidden.

Here is real in-development footage of the current state:

I’d still love to hear about the first few minutes: did you know what to do and where to go, and when did you think “what am I supposed to do now?” Thanks again to everyone who took the time to play and write back.
