would you want it to speed up faster or just instantly spawn back
probably just faster so it still feels like a transition and shows information but at the same time it keeps players engaged. Actually Celeste developers talked about this exact topic in a youtube video, I would highly recommend you watch it.
the respawn waits for the death particles to fully finish so that prob slows it down more too
