How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
Seeing Trash and Rocket, I immediately wanted to build a rocket out of garbage. It felt ridiculous, and that was the point. Old things from my childhood kept coming back, and I have always liked snapping pieces together. So I put my favorite little raccoon in the pilot's seat and let him turn the junk around him into a rocket that can really fly. I then made the height the challenge. Every combination of parts only matters if it sends the rocket farther. Beating your own last flight is the good part.

What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
I built this game as a single HTML/CSS/JavaScript web page with Three.js r160 loaded from jsDelivr. All in-game models, scenes and sound are made in code: rocket parts, raccoon, scrapyard, Earth and sky are built from primitives like cubes, cylinders, cones and spheres, with no external models or textures. Explosions, collisions, firing sounds and background music are real-time oscillator and noise synthesis, no audio files. Part icons are generated at runtime by rendering the 3D parts to canvas. The Raccocket logo is hand-drawn by me and embedded in the page as WebP; cover and narrow promotional art (painted by me in Procreate) reside in the same folder but are not loaded during gameplay. Fonts include Saira Stencil One, IBM Plex Mono, ZCOOL QingKe HuangYou, Noto Serif SC from Google Fonts, plus TakWolf's Fusion Pixel Font (SIL Open Font License), containing glyphs from Ark Pixel and Cubic 11.

How did you use generative AI? (If you did)
Declaration: The design, programming, art and audio of this project are independently developed by me and my team. No AI was used in the creative process to generate code, images, 3D models, text or audio assets.

Yall should invest in making an app to release. The general public would definitely want to try something like this

I think this might be my favourite game of the jam, kudos to all of you!

Developer

Thank you. Hearing it might be your favourite of the jam means a lot to all of us. Really glad you had fun with it.

I believe there are 7 of you, but even for a team of 7, it's an incredibly well-done project in just three days. Leaving aside the fact that it's a Game Jam game, if I saw it on Steam I'd add it to my wishlist.

Developer

Thank you. There are a few of us, and three days still felt very short. A Steam wishlist spot would be a dream. Glad it held up beyond a jam game for you.

This is like Besieged meets Kerbal Space Program meets crack cocaine. Fantastic and fun little experience to play around with, and an incredible feat to have built using three.js. It looks and runs great. Mad respect!

So many fun little details everywhere like the polaroid on the flight summary. Great job to you and the team behind this little game jam gem.

Developer

Thank you.  Three.js carried a lot of the flight view, and the little polaroid was a favorite of ours too. Mad respect right back.

This game is incredible, the visuals and gameplay are great and the dragging system is so intuitive!!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you. We spent a lot of time just dragging parts around until it felt obvious, so this one means a lot. Glad the look and the building both worked for you.

This is such an impressive game to have been made in only 3 days, although i wished that the mechanics were explained much more clearly as I was kinda confused on how adding a fridge and a washing machine on my rocket made it fly higher, nonetheless the game is still incredibly fun and I had a blast making rockets for this raccoon.

and congrats on winning the jam lol.

Developer

Thank you, and the fridge thing is fair. It is heavy, but it also blocks blasts and can sit on top as armor, so it changes how high you get rather than adding thrust. We should say that on the part itself. Really glad you had fun building rockets for the raccoon. We will take the win joke.

I love the visuals and how all looks together so well! This has crazy potential for a mobile game. If I had to think of a critique, I think the only thing is that the parameters of some items are hidden unless you put them in the rocket - it might be a me thing but always showing the % of explosion or strength of each items since the menu selection would improve to me the feeling of knowing what I'm building.

Oh also, playing it not in fullscreen is super difficult 'cause some items in the rocket cannot be move, but I think it is a  problem of the webpage itself rather than the game.

Anyways, this game is absurdly well done!

Developer(+2)

Thank you, this is really helpful. The parts do hide too much until they are on the rocket, and showing explosion chance and thrust in the tray would make building much clearer. The non-fullscreen drag issue is on our page too, so we will look at that. A mobile version is a nice idea. Really glad the whole thing felt like it belonged together.

How... did you make this? Incredible. I mean, how did you even have the creativity to come up with such an idea? The art and gameplay are top notch.

Developer(+1)

Thank you. The idea started from wanting to bolt junk together until it could actually fly, and the raccoon got to be the pilot. Really happy the art and the building both landed for you.

Amazing game! loved the customization. I kept on trying to get higher and higher!
Loved the cola and mentos haha.

Developer(+2)

Thanks so much! We’re glad you enjoyed the customization and had fun chasing higher scores. The cola & mentos bit was one of our favourite little details to make lol!

Incredible game, very fun although throws a lot into your face right off the bat.

Developer(+2)

Thanks a lot for playing! We totally get that it dumps a lot on players at the start. It’s a common pain point for our jam build, and we’d love to tweak the pacing if we keep developing it.
