Hey, I liked the idea behindRecipe Frenzy, you must be the dev behinde this?
I'm curious, how are you currently getting the game in front of new players? Are you mainly relying on itch.io, or are you also using platforms like TikTok, X and Reddit?
I'd be cool to hear how promotion has been going for you so far.
Hi! Yes we are the team behind it. 🤗We're still ahead of our game so we mostly go for X and Linkedin. We didn't get the chance to market our game in TikTok and Reddit, although we heard they are really great for game promotion. So far most of our players come from Itch.io especially after Recipe Frenzy got indexed. If you're looking for feedback from experience game devs then getting involved in the indie game community, discover other people's games, and connecting with fellow developers is definitely the way to go.
We are glad you liked Recipe Frenzy and hope you stay tuned for its next update on mobile soon! 🤩 -RonnaFemto Team
Hey Senna! Thanks for sharing that, and it’s great to hear that Recipe Frenzy is getting discovered through itch.io. The upcoming mobile update sounds exciting too!
TikTok and Reddit could be worth exploring as you move forward. TikTok gives you a chance to turn fun gameplay moments, cooking challenges, and funny fails into short videos that can reach people who haven’t heard of the game yet. Reddit can help you connect with gaming communities and get genuine feedback, as long as you participate in the right communities and follow their rules.
My team and I specialize in social media management and game promotion, particularly helping developers create content and build a community around their games. We also have a YouTube channel where we share our work.
Would you be open to discussing a possible collaboration to help Recipe Frenzy reach more players through TikTok and Reddit? I’d be happy to share more about our work if you’re interested!
