It's been awhile and Ruby is finally back with a new game! This may sound a bit sentimental but the first one left quite an impression on me so the second one didn't feel as good, gameplay now depends more on RNG especially when finding the right vitten to give to Ruby, I believe only one of the type you're looking for spawns each time Ruby knocks on the door, so if it's the very one that gets stuck in a corner or something then it gets significantly difficult to find it, the short range vision and color blurring with the flashlight can also make a nightmare to tell which one is the right color to pick, but I guess that's part of the challenge. The QTEs is easily the most annoying thing in the game, but what bothers me more is that this game could have had more environment interactions or lore to it, which are mostly delivered at the start and end of the game, which means if one is to replay the game for alternative endings or hard mode, the gameplay may still stay roughly the same and isn't interesting much. Despite all those shortcomings, I still enjoy the game and hope it'd make it to Steam! Happy Halloween and I wish the developer as well as Ruby the same.

Hey there, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review! As a solo dev, hearing feedback like this means a lot to me.

Regarding the QTEs, you're definitely not the only one feeling that way, and I've been heavily considering tweaking or even scrapping them for the final release based on everything people have been saying.

Thanks again for the support, and Happy Halloween to you too! 🎃
