I really enjoyed the concept of finding lost trinkets and delivering them to the rest of the little ghosts! I think having a few less characters and a little bit more polish would have really helped this game.
Just some things I noticed:
As others said, I got trapped in dialogue with the Dean, and couldn't exit unless I went and found some leaves :(
I got 6/9 trinkets and around half of the acorns needed before the game ended on me; it would have been nice to be able to keep playing in one playthrough until I got all the trinkets and all the acorns! It also would have been nice to have a tracker for how many acorns I have, and some sort of indication of how many I needed to get.
For audio, it would have been really nice to have the music play the entire time in the overworld! It felt a little bit lonely without music!
I also found it a little difficult to find trees with leaves? Maybe I was just unlucky, but I'd search the whole map, and eventually find 3 or more trees huddled together with leaves; then I'd search, and after finishing searching, the trees that had leaves would randomize again!
It wasn't entirely clear when the day ends; is it after searching through a certain number of leaf piles? Is it after a certain amount of real life time passes?
Mostly, I really enjoyed the dialogue with all the ghosts, although I was a bit unsure whether the orange ghost was supposed to be speaking partially in English and partially in French, or if this was a mistake. Luckily, I can understand a bit of French, so I was able to surmise the ghost was really upset about the lack of BREAD!! It would have been cute to have this translated to English so more people can understand it!
I also noticed that once an item is deliverable, the wrong button would be highlighted; if I hovered over "End conversation", the "I found it!" button would be highlighted. The buttons still worked as intended, though.
Overall, this game was a really cute and enjoyable experience - I loved the music and the art too! - but the polish and consistency was lacking just a little too much.
