Super cute game!! Loved the art style, the music, and the characters + story!!
The gameplay was really fun too; I really loved unlocking new mechanics (that were also story related!) as we progressed.
The only things gameplay-wise that I think could have used some improvement is a larger detection box for the attack. It felt a little bit awkward trying to hit the enemies sometimes, and it took me a few more lost hearts than I would have liked before I figured out how to properly time the attack below Pumpkin in order to bounce off of the thorns. However, this wasn't game-breaking, and is simply personal preference.
The "showing dialogue" mechanic was a little unpolished; sometimes, a word would be showing character by character, but because it was a big word at the end of the line, the word would just jump to the next line before it would finish showing, which made it a little hard to follow sometimes. Other than that, the dialogue had lots of character, and it was a fun read!
