I liked the art a lot but I don't see how it ties into the limitation of the jam

As per another comment.
Limitation wasn't implemented well and needed sound effects and or stronger hints. When you 'go to sleep' (missing from the story) i.e you hear noises, the ghost is meant to do something which is what changes, in this case the grass and foliage on the grave disappears.
