I love haikus, i think it would've been nice to have some kind of reward for having a haiku made done, or some story aspect to it? the idea is there, but more polishing would've gone a long way.

I agree with some other crits that the background is sometimes unreadable, and that more tutorial in the beginning would help. But I had fun overall and made a very horrible poem (which is probably why I didn't attract any waifus). This format did cause me to make fun associations between words I wouldn't usually think of, so I can imagine it working well as a tool for inspiration. Thanks for sharing your game!

Thank you. Yes I wish i took some time to do a tutorial as it would show how to change colors, well tint the background and words to see them better or just for user preferences. Each background has its own settings.

I liked the concept ! I felt tho that only a few backgrounds allows to see the words correctly, maybe something to to here but I really enjoy it !

Hi thanks. If i had more time, a tutorial would have shown the settings allow for tinting the background and word color to better see or for preferences.

Uniquely crafted.

Conceptually novel.

Lovely autumn game.

This is like the infinite typewriter thing, but instead of monkeys, it's waifus

Very relaxing!

I wished for a tutorial, since I was super lost in the beginning and some settings where also just not there.
The game also does not fit the limitations in my opinion, but it was relaxing so the theme matches also with the falling words as falling leafs (if I am not over interpreting).

At first when i first started playing the game, I wish there is a tutorial to tell what to do here, it really confuse me first time when i launch the game, I thought it was bugged.
Also i don't think it match the limitation of the jam very well.
I like the waifu art:)
the classic haiku concept for autumn is pretty relaxing, good game :)

Thanks, yes there are some bugs i didn't have time to work out and lacking an in-game tutorial. As for limitation, I thought looking at journal causes the wind to blow away any work being done since you don't see the work area anymore. Or that if working on haiku, take too long (walking/looking away) the wind picksup and blows it away. I did not change scenary though, as that was too much of a distraction for me if looking at journal.

The page animation when you open up the haiku menu looks so nice!
